For numerous chefs, there exists a pivotal cookbook that served as the catalyst for their culinary journey. This single book ignited an idea, unlocking a passion for cooking they may not have realized they possessed. Currently, I don’t have a cookbook collection; nevertheless, I cherish the recipes passed down from my mother as my favorites. In the 90s, as I embarked on my culinary career, she entrusted me with her recipes.
To capture my interest, a cookbook must narrate the stories behind the dishes and their origins. One of my favorite recipes that I’ve developed and modified is my version of mac and cheese.
