Looking back over the past year’s accomplishments helps to settle storms brewing. People start to look at the things they didn’t get done but forget to see all they did and the progress they made. Kentridge had many successes: 1) The exterior of the building had some much-needed care, a new, fresh look to spruce it up. 2) Multiple new families have joined us and the ones who passed on did so with dignity. 3) The staff is building up to stabilization. 4) We had many successful brunches. 5) A very successful Best of Party was held.
Kara Wilhelm is extraordinary. I’m very proud of Janet Ortiz-Stoll, who never ceases to amaze me with how professional and positive she is on the floor. Janet also builds great relationships with her residents.
We are so excited to have the staff engaging in events, programs, and during brunches. We are all so excited to be sharing the Christmas party with the residents, so that we can bond with each other. All our events are done with the hope to give joy to our residents and it shows.
