There is no doubt that events and celebrations pull people together. Here at The Kentridge Senior Living we believe Halloween is a perfect time to build up our team and encourage workplace camaraderie. It helps create traditions, provides opportunities for intergenerational fun, and builds positive morale within the team. Plus, it’s a great holiday to let the team break loose and plan some seasonal fun!
This year, our community will be hosting a special Halloween themed Happy Hour for residents and staff to enjoy. Our culinary team will be preparing special Halloween themed food and refreshments. It is important for our residents to get to mingle and build bonds with our team members while outside of a care-related setting.
Traditions like this are important because they help build a stronger team and bring enjoyment into the workplace. When our teams are working better together and enjoying their time at work, they are also providing better care and support for our residents.
Celebrating Halloween at work can be a great opportunity to have fun while team building and improving company culture. As the Business Office Director, I love having these built-in opportunities to have fun and grow together as a team!
